You’ll find Avli Tavern besides the centre of Kalavrita. It was created by Gogo Gerou and Grigoris, two young persons with experience in food. The area is cozy and warm because of the combination of the wood with the rock, but also of the fireplace that exists there.
The menu includes delicious dishes like kabob, lamb, cok with spaghetti, fricassee and many more.
You’ll also find grilled meat and traditional pies. The materials used are always fresh and from the local production. In summer, but also on the sunny days of spring or autumn, you can sit and enjoy your meal to the exterior area.
Kalavryta is the most popular winter destination in the Peloponnese and justly bears the palm of tourist interest as it is the second largest ski resort in the country and the centre of a region with significant historical monuments, breathtaking countryside plus it is easy to get to (just 77km from Patras and 200km from Athens).
