Kandia beach is pebbled and can have sand too in some spots. The seabed is mainly sandy. A suitable area for children and family lay in the sun and play safely. The beach is reachable on foot (if the place of residence is Iria village) or by car (if you choose to stay in Nafplio or other cities nearby).
Leaving Kondyli beach behind and driving towards Iria, you will come across some road signs which signal a right turn. This happens due to the lengthy line of the beach.
Kandia is ideally located next to the village of Candia with lots of cafeterias, restaurants, rented deck chairs, and umbrellas and of course showers as well. There are some free parking areas around.
It is a long beach with clear waters and a beach for almost all the tastes. You can visit the spot where all the action happens or you can choose to relax and read your book and listen to the sound of the waves and wind blowing through the leaves.
